About Core Micro

Core Micro (Core Microinsurance Uganda) is a new microinsurance company in Uganda and seeks to provide insurance to the least served and the usually ignored segments of our society. Our products are tailored as simple, affordable and easy to use. Our ‘secret sauce’ is the technology that will make insurance as available and easy to use as can be.


Our products are designed to ease the discomfort of risks when they occur by having quick resolution times and easy to understand claim procedures. Core Micro is here to demystify the insurance sector for the everyday challenges that the average Ugandan faces in medical micro care, when travelling for work outside Uganda, when making remittances back home, when working on the farm for daily bread. Our offering is to ensure that our clients are at ease.
